GPS Evaluation Device Operation
Our GPS Evaluation device is used to monitor, troubleshoot, or review Geo areas with potential challenging cellular connections. Listed below is a brief overview of the operation of the device:
Turing On Device
To turn on the device, locate the power button and hold for 6 seconds, you will see the red & blue led's turn on, then release the power button. This indicates the device is booting / turning on.
Turing Off Device
To turn off the device long press the power button for 10 seconds, all LED lights will turn off, then release the power button.
Rebooting The Device
To reboot the device, ensure it is turned off. Then locate the power button and hold for 6 seconds, you will see the red & blue led's turn on, then release the power button. This indicates the device is booting / turning on.
Charging The Device
To charge the device, locate the charging flap on the side of the device and plugin the provided USB charging cable. Charging the device will take approximately 1 hour to fully charge. You can see the charge level of the battery by review the device on the CoreView mapping platform.
Low Battery Charge
If the red LED battery indicator on the front of the device is flashing red, it indicates the device is low on battery.
Checking Your Location
To check your location on the CoverView Mapping Platform. Complete the following steps:
- Login with your assigned credentials
- Navigate the real-time mapping section
- Find your group, then click on your assist ID
