StarChase Whitelisting Information

Overview
Listed below is an overview of the application ports and whitelisting best practices to following when utilizing our application and support services.

StarChase Mapping (CoreView)
Our mapping application CoreView is entirely web based and requires no special ports to be opened on your networking appliance. The application communicates securely using port 443. If you are blocking access to certain webpages & services, we recommend you make a wild card entry in your network appliance to allow inbound & outbound traffic from the following website / service:

[*.starchase.com]
[*.releasenotes.io]
[*.googleapis.com]
[*.gstatic.com]

Support Services & Communication
The primary forms of support we provide are email and telephone. There are now whitelisting recommendations for telephone-based communication. As far as email, we recommend you make a wild card entry in your network appliance to allow inbound & outbound traffic from the following website / service:

[*.starchase.com]

Summary
As we discussed, no custom ports are required to be opened. If you are restricting communication from certain web pages & services, we recommend a wild card entry in your network appliance to allow inbound & outbound traffic from
[*.starchase.com].
